Professional background

As Partner and member of the Executive Committee, Guy Lapointe provides audit and consulting services to public and private companies. Over the years, he has accrued solid experience guiding and consulting with companies working primarily in the manufacturing and retail industries, as well as municipalities, securities brokers and car dealerships.

Guy Lapointe earned his Accounting Degree from HEC Montréal in 1974, and became a chartered accountant in 1975. He joined Petrie Raymond in 1993.

Contributions to the community

Mr. Lapointe is a very active member of the community, having chaired the Board of Directors for the following institutions and organizations: Fondation A. Lepage, Club Optimiste de Brossard, Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and the Centre de transition pour adultes handicapés Le Transit. His altruism earned him an “Honorary citizenship” from the city of Brossard in 1993.
