Professional background

A truly seasoned professional, Gaëtan Laflamme possesses over 40 years of experience as a consultant for companies and financial institutions seeking turnaround, reorganization or insolvency assistance, as well as a manager for facilitating successions. His clients operate primarily in the distribution, services, transportation and manufacturing industries.

Gaëtan Laflamme earned his Bachelor Degree in Commercial Sciences from HEC Montréal (1969) before becoming a chartered accountant in 1972. He joined the Firm in 1999, after having been a partner in various national firms for almost 20 years.

Contributions to the community

In supplement his professional duties, Mr. Laflamme also sat as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Dr. Clown, an organization that sends therapeutic clowns into hospitals with the goal of improving the patients’ quality of life. He has also sat on the Board of Directores for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Laflamme also obtained an authorised insolvency trustee licence in 1977, in accordance with the laws concerning bankruptcy and insolvency.
